SWMH previously ran a Pre-School in Bilene, Mozambique. It managed to educate over 50 pre-schoolers and improved their chances of success at primary school significantly.

It was fully supported by the local Catholic church and although it is closed at present, a previous teacher runs private pre-schooling from her home.

SWMH hopes to run an outreach program, providing educational workshops to those living in remote places in the province of Inhambane, using an old caravan as the moving resource centre!

 

We will keep you posted as the outreach project develops. At present we are looking for funding to buy 2 caravans for £2000, so that we can transport volunteers and resources to the remote places and open the door to a mobile school in which they can learn and develop.
