After travelling a little of the globe at 18 and spending some time in South Africa and Swaziland I knew the life I had grown up in was not my future, instead the simple community life that I saw in Africa was. I stayed in England to study for a degree, but during holidays, managed to travel more of the globe. I continued to notice the lack of resources in many of the poorest places of the world so I was ever more grateful for all the gifts I had been bestowed throughout my life and I used them wisely to gain my profession in teaching. I was mostly bemused by the excessive amount and misuse of the very resources that were missing in so many areas, in my home town and in the western world. This awareness laid the 1st stones for the foundations of SWMH. |

Sing With Me Happily (SWMH) is a UK based registered charity, established by Rebecca Kate Spencer . Registered Charity Number: 1133462 The charity aims to create many community schools which will provide educational activity and resources to a broad scope of people living in Africa. SWMH aims to fill the educational gaps in the African communities in which it works. Primary target members will be people on the poverty line, but the schools will have a positive impact upon whole communities and the volunteers that come and work within them. SWMH is seeking out support from all who have a will to put back in to the world just a little of what they gain from it. |

Sing With Me Happily will help support many community school projects across Africa, building on the original framework begun in 2010, in Inhassune, Mozambique. We would have facilitated the creation of many community schools which are filling the great educational gaps that exist. All being possible by many people’s generosity in sharing their resources and gifts with one another equally and without judgement. |
